About EverStrong
The part of the prescription nobody provides.
EverStrong is strength and nutrition coaching for people losing weight on GLP-1 medication, built in Sydney, Australia. The medication takes care of the appetite. We look after the muscle.
Why it exists
When GLP-1 medications became mainstream, the same story kept coming up: real, significant weight loss, and at the end of it people were weaker, colder, flatter, and confused about why they did not feel the way they expected to. Pooled across 20 randomised trials and 15,782 people, 35.2% of the weight lost on semaglutide was lean mass (confidence interval 31.5 to 38.9%). On tirzepatide it was 25.4%.
The part usually left off is the part that changes what you do about it. In the same review, losing that weight by diet alone cost 26.2%, and the difference between the medications and dieting was not significant (p = 0.42). The muscle comes off because the weight comes off. It is not something the injection is doing to you. And adding resistance training took the figure down to 17.5%, the most favourable result of any approach studied. Eisa N et al, Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism 2026.
That last number is the whole reason this exists. Prescribers do not cover it, that is not their job. Apps count calories. Gyms sell the same programmes they sell everyone. Nobody was turning the two things that move that number, enough protein eaten first and two short strength sessions a week, into a plan someone could follow on a day when they could barely eat. So we built it.

The approach, in four lines
Numbers over feelings
Three numbers every Sunday. A strength test, a protein average, an arm measurement. They tell you what the scale cannot: whether you are losing fat or muscle.
Protein first, literally
1.2 to 1.6 g per kg of goal weight (0.55 to 0.7 g per lb), and the first bites of every meal are protein, because on a GLP-1 there may only be a few bites.
Two sessions, thirty minutes
Strength training does not need to be heavy or clever. It needs to happen twice a week so your body has a reason to keep the muscle.
Stay in our lane
We do not do doses. We do not do medication advice. That is between you and your doctor, and every page says so where it comes up.
What we make
The Keep Muscle Kit, the whole system in five documents. A personal seven-day plan at your exact number. The Sunday Review, your numbers read every week. And the free tools: the protein calculator, the muscle-or-fat quiz, the guides by medication and the note, one idea a fortnight by email.
Who is behind it
EverStrong was founded by Greg Black, who has tracked his own body composition with DEXA scans since 2022 and spent years in evidence-based nutrition and longevity research before building this. It is an Australian company: EverStrong Nutrition Pty Ltd, ABN 34 696 248 870, Sydney.
